Glen Lawson Watson, 76, of South Kingston, Rhode Island, died at South County Hospital on December 8, 2018, from kidney failure.
Born November 11, 1942, in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Kline L. and Claribel I. (Hyman) Watson. He worked in the Pawtucket School Department in Facilities Maintenance. He was always a friend to animals and in his 20’s worked as a horse groomer/trainer of race horses. He lived a full life and enjoyed involvement in many activities over the years especially running, boating, camping, fishing and was an avid Nascar race fan.
Glen is survived by his wife, Mary Lemay; daughters, Pamela (husband-Jeffrey) Lord of Suwanee, GA, Patricia Watson, of Central Falls, RI; grandchildren, Matthew Lord, Michael Lord, Mason Lord, Madison Lord, Shantel Watson, Jarad Watson; great grandchildren, Olaya Watson and Iziah Watson. He is also survived by two sisters, Claire Iannelli, and Jeanine Vigeant.
Glen’s wishes were to not have a memorial service however his close friends will be hosting a Celebration of Life in his honor.
